Visual Journaling Class

Today was Friday's Visual Journaling class at Present Sense Studio in Seattle. Five of us gathered to slow ourselves down, breathe, close our eyes, and let our bodies speak.

One thing is for sure: when we paint or draw from the places in our bodies asking for attention, we never know what to expect. There is no agenda. And the images that emerge are always surprising. Always. These are my images from today's session. The first one is a "check in" with my body.

The second one is a "character" that revealed herself.

Could be a raven with wings outspread or a penguin hovering over an egg.
